Starting a District Commandery
You need two Knights to start a District Commandery. One Knight must have Full Regalia; the Order sends your Commandery Flags and an Investiture sword for your Commandery.
Affiliate Commandery Program
Once you are formed as a Commandery you receive a substantial percentage on all Memberships fees, Donations and items purchased from the shop to help you run your commandery. We will design create and build your website with our shop and membership integrated.
We have a proven system to grow your commandery that results in 1200 members in year one, and 3,600 in year two. When you do the math, you will see that this will lay down a good foundation to build a Commandery of honourable members to do good in the community.
To run your commandery, some people have given up their fulltime employment to run their commandery; Administration Salaries are allowed when a Commandery reaches 500 in number to be able to run it smoothly. The Commander is in charge of fixing salaries and administration staff. Opening a Commandery can be a very time consuming business, but the effort put in results in premises for the members so the members of the commandery feel a belonging and have a sanctuary home from home to go to.
- Assistant/Vice Commander
- Master of the Lodge (Manager of the Premises)
- Secretary (General Membership Administration and post)
- Treasurer (responsible for accounting and monetary transactions)

The purpose of the Commandery is to expand the membership to do good in your community, at Monthly Meetings you would collect donations for Local Charity and then decide on what to spend the money on, or save it in the Charity fund until it is a sizable amount, this Charity money must be invested in your local community at least once a year. The more members you have the more money you can raise for charity in your community. Remember 100% of monies collected for Charity go to charity that is our code of honour.
Monthly Lodge dues are payable by each member this is voluntary donations by attendees of the monthly meeting, if a member has hardship he will be allowed a pass on the basis of making amends later once his hardship has passed, the brothers should help their fellow member out in any way they can to recover hardship.
Annual Membership fees to the Main Order are to be collected by the Treasurer of the Lodge. If a member has hardship he will be allowed a pass on the basis of making amends later once his hardship has passed, the brothers should help their fellow member out in any way they can to recover hardship.
If your proposed District Commandery is abroad you will need to check if any registrations are required as a District Commandery is officially a branch of a religious Order. You normally register a NONPROFIT ORGANISATION.
